Alicia’s love of performing began at the age of 8 when she started singing in the Australian Girls Choir. This gave her the opportunity to perform at large events such as the Melbourne Grand Prix, AFL Grand final, Melbourne Cup and the “I still call Australia home” Qantas commercials. She then went on to major in classical voice in VCE and has since continued singing lessons with Lyn Gillett. Alicia also began playing piano around the same time and now enjoys writing music for vocals and piano.
Alicia began professionally performing in 2006 when she joined a cabaret show touring around Australia doing impersonations of Liza Minelli, Dolly Parton, Shania Twain and others. She is now performing backing vocals in "Hot Pink" The Australian Pink Tribute Band giving her the opportunity to do a lot more touring and playing the part of Frida in Abbasession.
Alicia’s other love is working with children. She teaches Preschool music, movement and dance classes three days a week for Rhythm Factory, Popstar Classes on singing, dancing and drama for Bop Till You Drop and song and dance workshops in Schools around Victoria.
