We had a wonderful experience with your ‘Pirate McGee’ (Tony) He had a fantastic way with our kids who have a big variation in special needs and communication styles. Our kids were full of smiles and watched him closely. Please pass along our huge help to him for all he did for them by coming to visit. I would definitely see the value in booking him again. He also gave us a generous discount for which we are most thankful.
The process of booking the visit was smooth and seamless. As feedback I have listed some of the aspects of your service that we really appreciated. I don’t have any suggestions for how you could improve anything as we were very happy with your service.
We especially appreciated:
- The support of our charity through a discount for this program
- The confirmation email was very detailed and the timing of it was good
- The fact that Tony came to the door in costume and in character was great as one of our kids was waiting at the door
- The hiding of the treasure chest worked well as a surprise for our kids
- Tony had great energy and was able to engage with all our children/teens including a boy who is deaf who greatly enjoyed the songs and dialogue due to the gestures and high energy in the show.
- The balloon animals were very well received.
- The ability for us to take photos meant the journals that the kids took home had some fantastic photos for them to use as a communication tool as well as a reminder of the fun that they had.

"Our three year old son and his friends loved the pirate visit, show and treasure hunt. Although our group was a big younger than what you are probably used to, it still worked very well. The pirate had so much energy and really it’s a full on experience. Hi Alicia, Your email jogged my memory, I mean't to call you yesterday to say how much everyone enjoyed Pirate McGee at James' party last Saturday. He was hilarious for both the kids and adults and despite having nearly 20 children inside due to the woeful weather it was a pretty controlled, easy party. Pirate McGee commented on how well behaved everyone was which was surprising as there was one Autistic child, two with Aspergers and one with ADHD! Just goes to show how good he is with children! He entertained all the children aged between 2yrs to 7yrs from start to finish and had their full attention the whole time which wouldn't normally be an easy feat. They had an absolute ball and the parents were quite amused as well. The weather wasn't very helpful with a downfall of really loud hail in the middle of his performance but Pirate McGee didn't let that spoil the fun. "I just wanted to take the opportunity to say THANKS, to you and also to "Pirate McGee". Samuel's 5th birthday was a huge success and Pirate McGee a big hit with children and parents alike. Everyone was in stitches of laughter. The children where all exhausted at the end as they had been kept busy and enjoying themselves for the entire time. There where no lapses or lull’s which ensured that the children where kept engaged in the performance. Pirate McGee’s ability to keep 22 very excited children in check and focused in a positive way, was also commented on by many parents.
I was on kinder duty the week following the party and was delighted to be inundated with positive feedback from the children, who were able to recall so much of the experience that their kindy teacher and helper are requesting the photo’s, as they think it sounds wonderful. This was all without any prompting or questioning on my part.
I will not hesitate to recommend your company and performers to my friends in the future and I know some of the children’s parent’s took details from Pirate McGee on the day. We also look forward to dealing with your company for all our future needs.
